Ylias Akbaraly Attends the “CHOOSE FRANCE” Event in Versailles

Established by His Excellency Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic, the Choose France Summit is the must-attend event for major foreign companies that are investing or planning to invest in France.

This year, nearly 200 selected business leaders were invited to this major annual event. Among them were Elon Musk (CEO of Tesla), Bob Iger (CEO of The Walt Disney Company), the CEO of Nokia, and others—including Ylias Akbaraly, Chairman and CEO of Redland (the holding company for Thomson Broadcast, GatesAir, and the Sipromad Group). This marks the third time that Mr. Ylias Akbaraly has been invited to this event in recognition of the Group’s investments in France.

Following its initial investment—the acquisition of the French company Phenyxia Thomson Broadcast in 2018 by the Madagascan group—the group intends to continue its investments in France by expanding its workforce and its manufacturing facilities. These new investments will enable Thomson Broadcast to reposition itself as the global leader in the broadcast industry.

Please note that Thomson Broadcast will be participating as a partner in the African Digital Transformation Conference (ATDA), which will be held for the first time in Antananarivo this Friday, May 19, 2023.
